Not that different, the IM cover of "The Green Manalishi" would have worked just as well if CW did it.

I'd give it a twenty if I could.  This is as good as popular music gets in my opinion.

Oh, did you know her as well?  Surprisingly, she's got a regular 9-5 gig these days.

CW is right up there with the most fortunate introductions that I have had from being a member of the RP community. Thanks to all and in particular B & R. Without RP, I doubt I'd ever have had the good fortune of hearing this sort of talent.

So this is not the main track for the Jason Statham movie of a few years ago, same title? Sex at the racetrack. Electrocution. A lot of crude body bashing, gunfire and blood. You know, happy shit.

This is the song that launched my strong affinity for Catherine Wheel and Rob Dickinson. It still holds up well and gives me a charge, especially when I haven't heard it in a while. CW was a heck of a band with a great catalog of albums that most people will sadly never hear. If in doubt, pick up "Adam & Eve," CW's masterpiece, and one of the best rock albums of the '90s.

After carefully reading the lyrics, and this Marxian-based perspective, I need to give you beaucoup props on making that connection. Even when I don't take my medications, I usually can't go beyond 8 or so degrees of separation without adding a big hit of blotter acid.

And there was I, thinking that it was an abnormal heeling of a ship, only recovering slowly as the winds of change brought it about.

Well, I might still be right.
