That's Cold Play in my humble opinion - it just seems to skirt too close to 'music by numbers', one card short of a full deck.
To be honest, it's really kinda wanky.

If your not sure what wanky means, well, it's sort of like lame, but not quite.

A bit like my comment here is a bit wanky.

I wonder if they have any decent music left in them. Really enjoyed "Rush of Blood" and "Parachutes" but not much after that. No shame in making two pretty good albums but not being able to follow up.

My shallow opinion is that Coldplay was much better before Chris met Gywneth.  Glad he's happy though - that's worth more to the universe than satisfying my taste in music.

There is very little Kraftwerk played here but a couple of the notes from that riff remind me of the song "Computer Love" and the theme throughout the "Computer World" album (which I listened too very frequently in 1981 and after), as well.  I think this song is pretty likable, despite its detractors.

From 5 to a 4. Definitely doesn't wear well with age. Perhaps had it not been so overplayed from the outset.

Certainly an interesting comparison. But isn't it a little problematic to start comparing a relatively large cross section of music listeners from say, 25 years ago to a very small subset of listeners who have discovered RadioPardise? From there you can get even more precise when you compare RP listeners who post and those who just listen.

My point? I don't think this list of comments even remotely resembles the actual opinion of Coldplay even among RP listeners.
