I never clocked the 'Staring at the Sun' -vs- 'Feel good Inc' similarity.

Facing up to the fact that The Madonna -vs- Lady Gaga moment just aint gonna happen on RP.

Exactly. I've been thinking the same thing for years (to the point that I pulled out my "Pop" CD) and yes, this gives me confirmation. I will take off my tin foil hat.

Full respect to Damon Albarn. From Blur, to his work in Mali to Deltron3030 and Gorillaz he he just does music. Usually great music. Blur had been going for 11 years before that even started! Oasis were a one-trick pony. A pretty talented pony, but still...

+1

I enjoy the entire "package" - the concept, the music, the art, the animation.

Course I grew up a fan of the Monkees and the Banana Splits!

Nope.  Still doesn't go any lower than a "1" for the rating scale.  We need a scale where we can rate ONE song "0" or "11".

Yes - Ray Davies singing different words to the melody line from U2's Staring at the Sun - just played - no accident.
