The first bits, just before the English starts, belongs to the song "Plástico" by Rubén Blades...he was about to say "Ella era una chica plástica..." but he was cut on "E...or am I totally off?

FYI, Gabriel Rios was born in Puerto Rico, after his studies he moved to Ghent, Belgium to live with his girlfriend. Since then he works in Belgium and he's really big overhere.

I am guessing he got it from that source as he is from Puerto Rico originally, where maybe they would have heard Brazillian pop ? :-)

Reminds me of some Brazillian pop music I've listened to with the rythm of the children's almost chanting voices, the thumb piano and keyboard parts. Wonder if Rios got it from that source of music or just channeled it randomly on his own.

My friend and I agree, it's crap. And we tend to insist heavyly to upset his wife

Broad Daylight is the only song that is rather good (an 8 for me). I've seen once a live performance of this song, witch was very good.
