Good music, mediocre singing, excellent mumbling.  Almost PSD'd it but I like any moment of the song where Yorke's voice is on hiatus.

Played live in small leisure centre.  Greenwood playing guitar and keyboard at the same time.  Mesmerising performance.  Top of my adoration tree.

Lucky I can hit the Stop or PSD buttons.

Please Great FSM, make RadioHead and Thom Yorke's teeth go away. {#Pray}

Anyone have any theories for why Paranoid Android hasn't made it onto RP yet?  It's the equivalent of "Losing My Religion", "Like A Rolling Stone" or "Alive" not being on this station (all of them are, obviously, and are played semi-regularly).

I'm assume many have tried to LRC it and failed.  What gives?

I am not a conventionally religious man.

Quite frankly I worship at the church or rock and roll.

And this is one of my all time favorite hymns.

Ended up buying it again a few months later and never regretted it again....

On Thom's unusual appearance (from Wikipedia):

At birth, his left eye was fixed shut; the doctors determined that the eye was paralyzed and that the condition was permanent. Yorke's parents took him to an eye specialist, who suggested a muscle graft. Yorke underwent five eye operations before he was six years old. Yorke's father, a chemical equipment salesman, was hired by a firm in Scotland shortly after his son's birth and the family lived there until Yorke was seven. During this time Yorke had to wear a patch over his eye. He has stated that the last surgery was "botched," giving him a drooping eyelid.

Looking at Thom Yorke's face {#Arrowd}  (which appears to have been introduced to the front end of a pickup truck), it's a wonder he can sing at all!  This is not a bad piece at all... 7, maybe soon to be an 8.

I liked "Creep", and I can tolerate "Karma Police", but nothing else I've ever heard from them catches my ear or my attention.

Now, this is the first time I've heard this song, and I may well be missing something, but I don't get any vibe from it, no feeling of a point to it... just random flails on a guitar stacked up under effect pedals.

So, what am I missing?

Nothing at all.  In fact, your comment is right on the money except that Karma Police, and especially Creep, the whiniest, most self pitying excuse for a song ever written, suck too.

Not sure, but if you listen to album over album they are amazing. Try smoking a joint.
Radiohead is way under valued. Like Beck, they have some crazy, unique sounds, you just can't creep out of high school into.

I don't know. Try Stereophonics? Maybe more upbeat for you. Great England band.

If you haven't heard it yet, give yourself a treat and check our Radiodread by Easy Star All-Stars. It's a reggae version of this whole album, with different singers guesting on each track. It's got reggae, dub, and trip-hop elements, and it complements the original album beautifully. Guests include Horace Andy, Suagr Minott, and Toots and the Maytalls.
