The Matt Damon Bourne movies are three of the finest Bond-style action flicks ever made.  Their character development, plot and action sequences are just top notch.

I'm pretty sure that much of the reason I like this song is its connection to the movie. Otherwise, it's a little drab.

This is a pretty good song besides the fact that none of the lines rhyme, and the words sound about as awkward as reading the phone book. I get the idea they banged it out the night before the release date or something.

I'm going to say this without investigating specifics (i.e. your example): some of the dates are for various post-releases and re-mastered versions. Anything that is not an exact copy of the original (such as a master copy or maybe even a copy of the original vinyl) can be given dates that differ from what we know to be the original release date. Just a thought...

This is the signature theme for the superb Jason Bourne series.  Over time, it has grown on me.  OK, it may not be among the all-time great tunes, but does it deserve all this pile-on slashing by you fly-by snipers?  Not even close!

Wikipedia says "
Although not a hit when it was released, 'Extreme Ways' has gone on to become one of Moby's most downloaded songs."  Apparently there is a fan base out there who are not commenting on RP...

Not so!  "Identity" was excellent, "Supremacy" defied the Law of Sequels by being even better, and "Ultimatum" was good, but a relative disappointment.

As for this song (which, after all, is what we are supposed to be commenting on, right?) I like it...  always have, always will...  no matter how vicious the critics of the RP Chattering Class want to get!

Thank God that just finshed.  I thought he was just going to moan and utter nonsensical drivel forever!  If I ever meet Moby, I will ask what kind of view he gets since his head is so firmly jammed in his rear-end.

Not a bad thing at all. It caught my attention when I saw the film and I had no idea it was Moby until the end of the credits. It's a great choice for the end credits, capturing the character's predicament.

That's sort of a low bar, isn't it? At least as far as I'm concerned that is.

Having said that, I will admit that I like the Bourne movies, and this song is good in that context.
