This song is at least 20 years old, hardly a new "offering".  The members of the band have gone on to quite successful careers.

Given all the hits they've had and all the $$$ they've made, I think the Pixies don't need to work anymore.

I still remember seeing The Pixies for the first time on David Sanborn's "Night Music" broadcast out of NYC late on Sunday nights. I was up, denying the need for sleep, a Sunday in early 1990. It - the band, and the show - was ELECTRIFYING. The hair stood up on the back of my neck. Black Francis made me a believer that night. God WAS 7! I hadn't known!    And I did not need sleep.

I first heard this song on RP.  "What a great Lou Reeds song," I thought.

I've since made up for this gap in my rock education by buying The Pixie's CDs.  Thanks, Bill!

This is one song I can listen to, back-to-back, over and over again . . . It must scratch somewhere deep I itch.
