Running just as fast as we can
Holdin' on to one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
And then you say

I think we're alone now

This is all I hear when this song comes on.

It is very difficult to get over that.  I doubt he ever heard the song we know, but, so it goes...

This is clearly at least a 7. I gave it an 8. Will consider giving it a 9 maybe if it hits me harder next time. It looks like the movie that this soundtrack is based on is sort of gangsta w/profane language. So the music is probly the best thing about it. *shrug* BTW: The movie was released in 1999, not 1997.

I have a bunch of Nick Drake albums and upon hearing this, I came here to see which album it is on since I don't recall hearing it on anything I've got at home.

Oops.

I think this has to be a tribute to Nick Drake. The lyrical, musical and singing styles are so alike.  I can't be sure, because I haven't heard anything else from Todd Hannigan, (and there is nothing else by him in the RP playlist).
I really like it.  As Romeotuma says, it be deep.  7
