One night to be confused
One night to speed up truth
We had a promise made
Four hands and then away
Both under influence
We had divine scent
To know what to say
Mind is a razorblade
To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no
One night of magic rush
The start a simple touch
One night to push and scream
And then relief
Ten days of perfect tunes
The colors red and blue
We had a promise made
We were in love
To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no
To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
And you, you knew the hand of the devil
And you, kept us awake with wolf's teeth
Sharing different heartbeats
In one night
To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no
To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough

| zair99 (In Cognito) | Posted: Jan 07, 2012 - 06:33 I keep thinking this is Nick Drake when the song first starts, and that's definitely a good thing. Also, this cover is much MUCH better than the original, although it has its own charm. I just don't much care for her voice. |

I finally heard the original in the car last week. The whole time I was trying to figure out which familiar song I was listening to. At first I thought it was a very bad cover of a song I love. I soon realized it was the original of a song I love. What a difference between the two! I am incurably biased towards Jose's cover now. Score one for Bill. |
