What ever happened to Hank Dogs??? Weird family dynamics aside, they seemed talented.

PSD button really enhances the eclectic nature of RP. I just realized that you can keep clicking on it until you get something you want from the RP library. Each click is quite a revelation and shows the breadth of tunes just waiting for us

Such an elegant composition for individuals with a rough and tumble history. sort of why music is so interesting. And why people are so complex.....

That's what Bareback means.  Everybody knows that, as Mr. Cohen would say.

Much better than the dogs/M16 song. Maybe because it's not overplayed here like that was.

The guitar is great, but seriously, what the bleep is going on with those half-assed vocals?!?!?!!

"every action and every thought you think is etched on you indelibly" - I bloody well hope not, given the cobblers that goes through my mind on a regular basis! Nice to hear another Hank Dogs number on RP after the '18 dogs' one. 7 from the Nottingham jury, which is still wondering who Hank is and does he go dogging? ;-)

It is indeed his daughter (and his wife). I was thinking, gosh, the girl sounds just like her mom. But that's not her mom; she's his daughter from a previous marriage. So there you go. Beautiful stuff.

MinMan, you are funny! I love THAT song too.

I first heard Hank Dogs on another (lesser) online station. Took a couple days to hear several songs from 'Bareback', but after three, including the title track, I got up from my desk and walked across the street to the record store and bought it. Hank Dogs just grabs me somehow. Maybe it IS Celtic yammering, but so what?

'Bareback' is a stunning album all the way through.

You know, I can be as hedonistic as the next person, but what the hell does the woman's looks have to do with the music? Why don't all you people making those comments go listen to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake and leave the rest of us alone. BTW - agree with the Cranberries comments, the music is OK, but nothing killer.
