It seems as if the most of the music here causes you "frustration", since the substantial majority of your ratings are "3" or below  - but I agree, the commentary here need not be limited to just the song itself.  Discussion of geometric arrangements is always a good thing.

Totally agree. My head jerked when she painfully rhymed leave her with her having a fever.  Did she really do that?  This rates as "acceptable" to me.

Some days I think I'm just getting too old for this station when they play too much weird stuff that might be poetic but has no musical quality. Ok, maybe I need a Christmas carol or something, not the depressing music I'm hearing right now.

I get the tension build up/off kilter rhythm of the verses, but it's the release in the chorus that gets this one a 6. I feel that if she weren't being so precious and arty with the verses I'd be rating this an 8 or 9. YMMV.

The jerkiness is actually what drew me to the song and caused me to like it. I bought the CD based on this song and haven't been disappointed with it.
