My favourite Jeff Beck track ever - I used to listen to it as a wayward teenager way back in the late '70's and still love it !

Oh-by-the-way, this song is sweet to hear; full of emotion.........{#Whistle}

Saw him recently here at the Arts Centre. Live he plays with so much power and volume. Yet he still massages the tune out and has lots of feeling to it. I am a guitar worshipper and Mr. Beck out performed my expectations.

Yes, keyboard sound can be a form of "carbon dating" a song, for sure!

1977, married dorms, where my girlfiend and I were staying with friends while I was home on leave (Navy) for a few days.  She puts on this album, and I knew the Dear John was coming.  The evening was terribly tender and romantic, however, and brings me goose bumps to this day.

Wow! The music of porn without the visuals....damn! Go ahead...just start sayin' some smarmy 'porn like' dialogue to this in the background...it'll make you laugh. Something like..."Gee...Debbie...you've always been more than just a baby sitter to me!"..."Oh yeah..baby...yeaahhh!" ....lol. I like JB, but I think this is a bit lame...sorry.

Yes, he is one of the finest guitarists/musicians on the planet.  In the extras for the "Live at Ronnie Scott's" video,
Beck himself said about the music - that he can't lose concentration for a second, or he's lost.
Just watching him perform leaves me awestruck.

I moved a lot these twelve last years. Had all my things in a container in London for more than 10 years. I eventually moved everything in Beijing last year. Tons of crates, books, papers, and cds. Amongst them the Beckology set. This, "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" was the first title I listened to in my new flat, loud. What a strong feeling! Such a great melody
