Always love Damien. This song is easy listening and good to hum along to, however doesn't really make clear use of, or display, the full extent of this genius' talent.

How did you not realize you typed that entire thing in all caps; even the part where you tried to emphasize the NOT in caps, but they came out tiny? Seriously.

Geecheeboy - having surveyed Excelsior's top rated songs - he seems to have found a pretty solid RP selection that he likes.  He's just more vocal than most of the stuff he doesn't like.  Keep cool Geecheeboy!!

I think the thing that keeps you, Excelsior and me coming back is the pure variety - its not always what we like, but Bill provides a balance of comfort and pure surprises that allows us to all to put RP on the top of the list of "stations" we play.

I like Damien Rice, saw him live, and was captured by the energy. This song is umm ... lyrically tired, trite. His voice is still yummy, but sheesh, time to go back to the drawing board for the lyrics.

Saw David Gray last year. Love his earlier, stripped down stuff, especially Birds without wings. Live, he seemed very happy; wobbly head, lots of shiny energy, lots of musicians, and he might as well have been on tv . Sad. When he asked us to wave our phones in the air I wished I had stayed at home.

Hope he finds again the man who wrote:

"wishing that something would happen
a change in this place
'cos I'm tearing off the fancy wrapping
find an empty package"

Mr. Rice doesn't generally appeal to me, yet I liked this song the first two times I heard it last week. Hearing it every single solitary day reminds me that Mr. Rice doesn't generally appeal to me. From now on, I shall associate it with the misery of tax season.
