Incidentally, if you like the Doves and Porcupine Tree, you then may very easily fall for Elbow. i like this post. i remember years and years ago when i first heard doves on RP. i was instantly hooked. much like with porcupine tree and elbow. i couldn't listen to them daily, but i do like hearing them on RP regularly. |

It would not surprise me if Coldplay were influenced by them. Not to disparage Coldplay. But rather, if you listen to other songs int he Doves' repertoir, Coldplay's newer stuff is uncanny in its similarity. |
