A lot of people probably asked such questions about men's hairstyles in the 1960s and '70s, when that photo was likely taken.  Maybe he wore a hat went he went out in public for "non-Kangaroo" activities.

Ive always loved the Crowes and The Band... it never occurred to me they might feel the same about one another.  Makes sense though.

So they doff their caps to Little Feet and The Band - no problem here. They also doff their (collective) hat to The Stones too. these are all good things to do. It's a cracking song from a cracking album, a solid 8.

With Luther Dickenson (North Mississippi Allstars) on guitar it gives them a different sound. The whole album is great.

I didn't like this song the first time I heard it (long, boring explanation deleted), but now, I'm really taken with it. The Crowes, for all their sibling-animosity and egos, come through in the crunch, and for me, this song proves it.  {#Dancingbanana_2}

Oh Stingray, you need to come over to the U.S. and experience the southern rock experience firsthand. It is alive and well. Example: How about My Morning Jacket?

The Crowes have really found themselves of late. They did an acoustic set on Palladia a couple of years ago and it is still one of my favorites.

Glad you finally saw the light with Porcupine Tree!!! Welcome to the fold. Oh, and I like ALL CAPS. It is expression and who knows, maybe you're an engineer/architect at work who forgot to turn them off. Wouldn't be the first time for me.

Peace. Horstman

I recently looked at RP's playlist of the 'Black Crowes' and I could not disagree with anything so profoundly?.... I personally have spent more time than I am happy with deciding weather ' Southern Harmony' or 'Amorica' is the better album and as I sit here I am still undecided?  There are ten times better 'Crowes' songs!!!.... But not better 'Heads' songs..................perfect
