Oh my lord
She give me chills and fever
Sends a signal
To my receiver
Hard livin’ killing me
I need that woman to set me free
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch
Feel sold out
Water gettin’ higher
Livin’ on the shoreline
Starin’ at the fire
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch
I hear her voice
When I’m all alone
Gives me comfort
So soft and low
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch
She give me chills and fever
Sends a signal
To my receiver
Hard livin’ killing me
I need that woman to set me free
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch
Feel sold out
Water gettin’ higher
Livin’ on the shoreline
Starin’ at the fire
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch
I hear her voice
When I’m all alone
Gives me comfort
So soft and low
And I want her
I want her so much
Cause she got the lover’s touch

| 25demayo (dreaming of an asado) | Posted: Jun 13, 2013 - 08:55 Great song but what a drop in speed from the Black Keys. Feels like I just hit a brick wall. Smoother transition next time please. |

Petty is like fine wine - he just gets better with age. Not too many rockers can do that. ![]() Miss you so much, Cynaera... love this song... |
| phlattop | Posted: Apr 26, 2013 - 21:01 as other commenters have noted, this is a really strong album. |

| NicJohn (Northern Michigan) | Posted: Sep 07, 2012 - 09:03 I like Petty, but I'm not a fanatic, he has a bunch of decent stuff. I have to say that this album is GREAT! It may be his best. An interesting blend of songs and sounds. And just about every song has a great guitar lick. RP introduced this album to me and for that I thank you. |
| mjmurphy61 (Saint Louis, MO) | Posted: Aug 24, 2012 - 06:12 Petty never strays too far from his roots, but if he did, this album would be a return to them. Gotta love it. |

| That_SOB (In at least 2 places at once) | Posted: Mar 19, 2012 - 04:09 I have a very hard time rating any song done by Tom Petty and Mike Campbell lower than a 9. I think of Free Fallin', I won't back down, You wrecked me babe and Runnin' down a dream, his solo work on Wild flowers, (although Campbell did the lead work) to some wonderful tunes on The Traveling Wilburys I and II and so, so much more. Campbell is one of the American guitarist greats, the guys leads are as good as R & R gets. I keep thinking I have to cherish anything the Heartbreakers do as if we get another album out of the group it will a surprise. Whenever I've been driving for 3-4 hours and want something to light me up, or just can't handle an album with 50% filler it's Petty to the rescue. Tom and co. are solid gold. |
| Jminner | Posted: Mar 10, 2012 - 11:19 Mojo is one of Tom's best albums EVER! And this song fits in perfectly. Love it. ![]() |

It's a fine body of work. The album was released on Blu-Ray disc, if you have that capability. With the DTS-HD Master Audio, theoretically, it's the sound of the master tape, what they heard in the studio. |

No so afflicted by this excellent and soulful rendition, but when RP dials up a set of tunes that are just too vanilla or lightweight for my peculiar tastes, I switch over to Creamy Radio for a while ( creamyradio.com ) A somewhat younger orientation on the playlist, and plenty of daring experiments. Pretty soon, however, it hip-hop and bubblegums at me until I return home to RP. Try it, some good new rock music aired there.Let this be the start for a great set of songs for those ~40. You pretty much satisfied the 50/65-group during the past 30+ minutes. |
