Very dreamy, easy to get lost in.  They also recorded a very uptempo version on the same album.  Once you listen to that one, this one seems slow..

This song makes me think of Highgate Cemetery, in London, and the Audrey Niffenegger book Her Fearful Symmetry

This is one of the first songs I heard on RP. I was hooked immediately. Lovely music and alluring voice and worthy philosophy in one package. What's not to like. I immediately grabbed it from iTunes or Amazon or somewhere.

This song is like seeing an old friends after too long apart...
Everything fits so well with what I seek in-real-life, music, books, discussions. Intelligence... and no shouting or force trying to insert something into my brain.... Yes, I am tired of this political season... Politics is a game that everything one thinks they -ARE- good at. They refuse to hear any other sounds than their own voice... Nobody is THAT damn good...
Stop chasing shadows....

Skye is back with the boys.

And I must say I'd marry Skye for her voice alone...egad, she settles right into my spine and just makes me very happy and relaxed.

Also, this is damned good singing too. Just ain't Skye.

I wonder if this is about Highgate Cemetery in London? That comes to mind as I recently read Audrey Niffenegger's book Her Fearful Symmetry which is mostly set in and around the cemetery, which sounds like a fascinating and eerie place. Plainly the song's about enjoying life in the midst of death, and the reference to gates closing and being locked in and statues makes me think of graveyards. This is a fantastic song - an easy 9 from the Nottingham jury.
