Finally, a band with a female singer that does not try to sound like all those other unbearable whispering women. Excellent tune, with a bridge reminiscent of the best Sufjan Stevens music. Love it.

Its edgy.  Her voice isn't really thin and reedy, it sounds crafted to me - a cultivated vibrato coupled with her "two octaves above middle C" classic soprano.  Nice.  I like it.

I agrere with many of the other posters: I just don't get much from female vocalists who sound like helium kewpie dolls. Makes me think of Britney Spears and Vanessa Paradis, both of whom I loath for this baby voice quality. Wrecks the otherwise interesting song.

Minnie Mouse does come to mind. I wouldn't want to listen to her voice too many times. It'd be interesting to hear a fuller, richer woman's voice sing this.

I'm liking the instrumentals but I find her voice is comparable to nails on a chalkboard.
I understand the sound they're trying for but I just can't get past that voice.
