I've seen them live 3 times ... very small club, club that holds 1000, and they opened for Muse this year.  Loved them in the smaller venues.  You know you've had a great time when the show is over and the first words out of your mouth are "Ya, I'd see them again"

Too much of newer alt rock is formulaic and auto tuned to death. This sound is different and entertaining, perhaps not great but a good approach.

Actually a nice album. Bit different than you would probably think, but I like it. Singing oten quite conventional, and guitars sometimes really loud. Good variety, in my opinion...

I can't figure out if the lack of discernible tempo is technically brilliant or just completely incompetent.  It sure is annoying though.

When they go "whoo" like that near the beginning of this song, it reminds me of that Scissor Sisters song, "Take your mamma"; it kinda ruins it for me.

Saw them warming up the Black Keys and went back for more when they played on their own.  Awesome live band with two great albums.  This second one is way better live than when you first hear it on the album but now somehow having seen it played live gives it that extra edge every time.

Oh I also really dig the cover.
