I really like the girl's voice, and the harmonies are quite good.  Reminds me slightly of the Stanley Brothers, in that it is really the person signing harmony (Ralph for the Stanleys, the chick for these two) who makes it sound good, not the dude on melody.

My ears perked up instantly.  Love the subtle slide guitar back there.  Mixes really well with the harmony.  

I'd kill to hear this live in my local watering hole on a quiet, rainy night.  9.

My upload! Good to hear it's in rotation. Yes, the lyrics may be a bit dark, but if you listen through to the end, they're not so morbid as may seem at first. One could interpret them as life-affirming.

Female singer is Caitlin Canty and her music is also worth checking out. (Unfortunately my uploads of some of her tracks were rejected. Maybe someone else has better luck.)

Probably, but wtf, at least it returns your nutrients to nature. No coyotes and bears over here, I'm afraid, so for me, bury me in the woods and plant a tree on top of me. After I'm dead, mind, and any useful organs have been harvested... ;-)
