i much prefer the live version from 'waiting for columbus'. the 'cocaine tree' must not have been in bloom when they recorded this version. still a good tune.

I'm with you on that. Lowell's slide guitar was so awesome. Although Little Feat has put out some respectable music since Lowell's death, he is missed dearly.

On the album, this tune is followed by the hyper-kinetic Teenage Nervous Breakdown. Makes for an interesting contrast. So I like listening to this tune on the album, with the knowledge that they're about to pull out the stops.

You couldn't play too much Feats for me! Lowell George and the boys had a lot to do with my musical development. Makes ya' wonder what he would've done if he'd lived longer.
