 That was my take on the lyrics. I thought that the song was about living in an intrinsically meaningless life and all that rather about a particular relationship. Sort of a post LSD era view of human existence———-But, hey I could be wrong.

David Gilmour Interview (2008)
   *

*  "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation. "    {#Fire}   {#War}

This strange people do not have anything useful to do in your work day than spend his life to harass others?
Then do not complain that there is unemployment ... do not do anything useful, apart from these acts of censorship itself of monopolies?
I think
David Gilmour and Music Community does not acknowledge these acts of censorship.

Roger Waters is a great song writer no question but I love the sound of Gilmour's guitar and melodies, put them together and you got the best combination.

What's with all the weird Gilmour versus Waters crap?

They are both awesomely talented and have created some fantastic albums.

Isn't that enough?

As far as writing for PF goes:

Pink Floyd songs composed solely by Roger Waters
