That's pretty funny considering it was written to be a parody to begin with.

Bill is rocking, and I am not getting enough work done. (minus that Peter Gabriel, when I had to step away from the headphones)

Sad those always seem to coincide.

7:08 am - Blur - Song 2
7:05 am - The Who - My Generation
7:00 am - Big Audio Dynamite - Rush
6:56 am - Gomez - Detroit Swing 66
6:53 am - Propellerheads - History Repeating (w/ Shirley Bassey)
6:41 am - Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes (live in Athens 1988)
6:37 am - Joni Mitchell - Jericho
6:31 am - Jeff Beck - Cause We've Ended As Lovers
6:28 am - Southern Culture On The Skids - Camel Walk
6:25 am - The Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian
6:22 am - Cowboy Junkies - I Saw Your Shoes
6:18 am - Kirsty MacColl - In These Shoes?

And I was gonna say that this song strikes me as good for hockey games, sports hilight reels, maybe a movie trailer with stuff blowing up...and not much else.

Just my opinion but aside from its energy (and a vibe kinda borrowed from Nirvana) I don't see much going on in this song or with Blur in general...

Well, actually, they rarely sound the same way twice. Blur is absolutely brilliant in that they can take on any genre, make it their own, then completely take the piss out of it.

Frontman Damon Albarn's Gorillaz and The Good, the Bad, and the Queen are also right up there at the rank of Genius in that respect.
