So wait...becuase prince is black, we should like his music? I guess I don't see the logic. And Prince's "music" is a joke. I hate it. And that's not at all because he's black, it's because it sucks.

i dunno. we seem to like tracy chapman and stevie wonder and satchmo a lot, for starters.

you are wrong. rp isn't all about black artists, but black artists aren't ignored here at all. prince is a bad example, but there are a fair amount of black artists on RP who do get very solid ratings, thank you.

I love Prince, but this song has nothing to do with what I associate him with. Gave it a 4.

I agree that Sign O the Times is a worthy masterpiece. I also adore the awkward "Parade" album and "Batman." What sounds commonplace now are ideas that this guy played on a whim.

He's the only musician alive that makes me laugh out loud at his creativity.
