Gimme that z, o-l-o-f-t
Gimme a grip, make me love me
Suckin' 'em down, I'm happy man
Can feel it inside, makin' me smile
...realize that the sky's not made of gold
don't disguise the nature of your soul
Gimme that z, o-l-o-f-t
No longer pissed and you don't bother me
I'm makin' it through, I'm givin' my all
When base are loaded, I'm whacking the ball
...don't suck the mind, don't drain the source
the path of life's not so easy to course, buddy

You mean the market for anti-depressants is being CREATED in these prime-time television ads. I bet you didn't even know you're depressed, constipated, arthritic, impotent, have high blood pressure, and allergic to everything all at once. Well, belive them -- you ARE. And it's such a shame... 18 is so young to have all these problems. But you DO have them -- trust them. Disclaimer: May cause: nosebleeds, headache, vomiting, halitosis, hair loss, sudden urge to urinate on trees, marital infidelity, fiscal irresponsibility, and the male itch. |

oh, I don't know. maybe that the drug companies are rich and getting richer by pressuring our Doctors into over prescribing these drugs. Most people suffer from depression at one time or another and some may actually need a drug to get them over the first hurdle or two. I think most just need time to process, deal and move on. we can only learn from life's trials if we can feel and think...and maybe hit the bottom. what ever happened to talking to your friends and family??? one more thing about this drug - a recent study shows that in children it can promote suicide. if you are curious see the NPR site...i heard the story yesterday. |
| porcupinemeat (Wilmington, NC) | Posted: Sep 10, 2004 - 13:34 One of the best shows I've ever seen - Ween. Surprised the hell out of me. |

Saw them live for the first time in Austin, and although they were campy and hilarious--the best part was being surrounded by their hardcore fans who shouted out each song as it started and kept on screaming and whooping their appreciation.

| redeyespy (SoFL) | Posted: Jun 04, 2004 - 20:57 Not a fan of Ween, but this caused a smile and raised eyebrow or two. Musically and lyrically. If 10cc (Godley and Creme era) played today, it might sound like this. Or, you might want the doc to write you some Lexapro. |
| brighthue (MetroWest, MA) | Posted: May 22, 2004 - 14:59 That was Fun Lovin' Criminals with "Crazy Train"... and the bizarre brunch continues with "Zoloft"... BillG, I love your sense of humor. |
| rascal420 (Truckee, CA) | Posted: Apr 26, 2004 - 12:27 This sounds like a downtempo Saturday Morning cartoon theme. |

| stickytylertoo (Houston, TX) | Posted: Oct 23, 2003 - 12:19 I think that's so awesome. I couldn't remember what Zoloft was for, but its depression, social anxiety disorder, panic disoder, etc. I think its funny to make fun of the promises of psychoactive medications, even though, I keep in mind they do help some people. |
| RichardPrins (Canada) | Posted: Oct 23, 2003 - 12:18 Whacky as usual... ;) |
