Me I imagine places
That I have never seen
The colored lights in fountains,
Blue and green
And I imagine places
That I will never go
Behind these clouds that hang here,
Dark and low
But it's there when I'm holding you
It's there when I am sleeping too
It's there when there is nothing left of me
It's hanging just beyond
the burned out factory
Out of reach but leading me
Into the beautiful sea
And I remember something
It feels a lot like fear
Some kid is wild and shouting
Coast is clear
And it's there when I'm holding you
It's there when I am sleeping too
It's there when there is nothing left of me
It's hanging just beyond
the burned out factory
Out of reach but leading me
Into the beautiful sea

| Beanie | Posted: Jul 15, 2005 - 08:25 OK, so this isn't as strong as most of the Hem I've heard, but gosh, you know? It's still Hem... I sure won't turn it off. |

| RockinBlueVoodoo (Deep in the Blues) | Posted: Apr 03, 2005 - 15:22 Good stuff |

| davveld (France) | Posted: Dec 06, 2004 - 14:46 Wonderful, a very ethereal voice. |
| tg3k (The Jungle - 459.62 miles south of Paradise, CA) | Posted: Dec 06, 2004 - 14:45 Wow, when did this show up? Instantly recognizable as Hem. This is one of those bands I have to be in the mood for, but what they do, they do very good, IMHO. Music for the soundtrack of somebody's life. Got this CD a few months ago, and have not been disappointed. If you like this song you'll probably like either (or both) of their albums. This album continues in the same vein as their first one, Rabbit Songs. Good, soothing music to drift off with. |
| Leslie (Antioch, CA) | Posted: Dec 06, 2004 - 14:44 I love this woman's voice. |
| coding_to_music (Marlborough Massachusetts) | Posted: Dec 06, 2004 - 14:42 Mmmmm, new Hem ! |
