Many people in this thread are bitching about RP selling out, etc.  For me, as someone who doesn't listen to broadcast radio at all, I find the song selection very refreshing.  I don't mind that Bill plays hits, because they can still be good songs and the hits are definitely the small majority of tracks played here.  I'll never claim to like all of the selections on RP since I don't like Bob Dylan, am apathetic about the Beatles, and don't really care for reggae, still, If RP has "sold out" you'd never know by the lack of commercials and adverts.

We just saw Cracker, Friday night playing on a stage in a parking lot of a mega grocery store in Hobart Indiana. And for those that think that is a bad thing, it ain't! They were as good as when we saw them in a midwest pub many years ago. They rocked the stage, gave back to the audience, played obscure Camper songs and popular Cracker songs. This band is all about the fans. And we will remain Cracker fans forever.

Love Cracker and Camper VB
This is a great song - first time I heard it though I thought it might be Barney Bentall (obscure Canadian reference, most won't know what I'm talking about, but those that do - what do you think?)

Sure enough. They 'feel' a bit like each other, though Cracker can do different styles, unlike the one-paced Wilco. Cracker's Sidi Ifni is distinctive, genre-busting and memorable, and they do some pretty rockin' numbers. This isn't one of them, sadly, and the Nottingham jury has to downgrade it from snoozeville to irritating (much as many RP folk think of the jury, I'm sure).
