Catie's one of those artists that I always appreciated when I heard her, but didn't connect until she did 'Find You Now'. Hints of Aimee and Lucinda, but I also heard some Shawn Colvin influence. Her songwriting sort of reminds me of Todd Snider's serious side. But influences aside, Catie is an original and a pretty fine guitarist. |
