Does this guy ever sing about anything but busted love affairs and aching hearts?

Hello RP-Listeners!

I wish all of you "MERRY CHRISTMAS",
wherever you are - whoever you wanna be!

Christmas is a sweet-naive tradition -
not a religious event!

I like it anyway!

Still - I hope Bill takes the chance
to rock the christmas-tree to pieces tonight!

"Happy Christmas
your "BAD SANTA",
aka STINGRAY
-from Cologne/Germany-
PS
Sermon of the day (promise: I'm serious):

The "Three Wise Men" - Melchior, Balthasar + Caspar
are buried in a golden sarcophage in"our" dome, the famous
"Cologne dome" - the third highest church-building
in the world - right in the very centre of town, next to the Rhine.
A gothic building of extra-class!

Have a look:

Oh, I dunno - I can hear the quirky vocals that signify a David Byrne song. Shimmer - I guess we're in the same boat. Hope you can swim. I can row. {#Lol}

And iggy33, you are spelling and punctuation-challenged (which is really scary, considering you list your occupation as "journalist.") And the fact that you called someone you don't even know "Dude" tells me you're probably not even old enough to run for office.  That's okay.  Just, please - don't vote. Or drive. Or do anything that might have serious repercussions on the rest of humanity. At least, not until you learn to spell, punctuate, and not call people "dude."

Naahh... Chris ain't gay. He's an "old school player", who reportedly has a predilection for Asian chicks. (who doesn't?){#Hearteyes}

Besides, what in the Hell has that got to do with enjoying the man's work? I just don't get that mindset. Gladly. {#Hand}

I'm ready for new music from Mr. Isaak and band. I wonder if the darth of CD sales in general keeps him from releasing a new CD? If you have a chance to see him perform live, do. He's a showman. True stagecraft.

Sitting at one of his concerts I stated to my wife (of the time) and those around us that my theory is that Chris Isaak has never had any girlfriends, just ex-girlfriends. At least that is the impression one gets.

A rich, warm voice, especially when he uses a lower range, like in this song.
Apart from the vocals, the song sounds like an old Manfred Mann song, Pretty Flamingo.
