I believe you meant to say that Chris Whitley's riffs are very Los Lobos.  Credit where credit is due.  But don't worry, CW also makes appearances here regularly.

Guitar riff is very Chris Whitley.  Could use much more CW on RP.  Lobos IS amazing live - saw them last year - impressive.

I have GOT to invest in more Los Lobos music!  This one for sure.  The more I hear of their music, the more I wish I'd been paying attention twenty years ago... I could have been enjoying their success and washing my car to 'WAY better stuff than I was listening to at the time. {#Stupid}

These guys are playing at California World Fest in Grass Valley in July. See 'em!! They are just sooooo much better live than in the studio. One of my favorite live shows.

I saw these guys as a back-up band when they were just starting out back in the 80s. They were good then, and you could hear the potential,  but man, they have developed so well over the years and become such a tight band. I always enjoy their work.
