Too bad; St. Teresa wasn't considered to fill the Pope vacancy.  Neither was I.  I was really looking forward to infallibility.

I very much like the tune, but this cover art is amateurish and should have been better to represent the cool music.

I'm sorry buddy, but i think. we must not act as RP-cops, or be impertinent, we must give some leeway to those who, with dedication and patience, selects the music for us. Additionally, she can play here everyday, I do will I see it, given the unique artistic personality of the great artist Joan O.
More: Why you do not questions about the RP has only included in airplay playlist, two songs from the album Bring It On Home (2012), when lesser artists, have 5 or more songs? hmm

So Joan was playing at the Red Butte Gardens in Utah. Outdoor show, beautiful night. Her last song was "One of us". Midway through the song the sky just darkened, pitch black; the wind picked up and man it poured. Never saw the weather change so fast. Crazy. She never finished the song. End of show and we all went home soaked.

You have to be kidding right, she is a great blues/rock and roll singer/writer.
I wish she was more popular and played more.

Joan Osborne - Saint Teresa, Live

tomtscotland

Joan Osborne - vocals
Donal Lunny - Bouzouki
Jerry Douglas - Slide

"So simple, so pure and so fantastic! "

"I just "discovered" this song recently thanks for posting had no idea it was Joan Osborne thanks very much for this... "

"This is so amazing ... great live version its so cool and casual! Imagine all them great musicians in your living room! "

"Wow, how beautiful. American blue-eyed soul in 6/8 time done up Gaelic. But it's no gimmick; it's real music, real musicians, no audio airbrushing. Truly soulfully sung and played. Thank you so very much, tomtscotland, for posting this! "

Pavarotti and Joan Osborne - "Gesu Bambino medley" Live in Italy (1996)
"I'd like to find this babe under my Christmas tree... "

"He is the most amazing tenor of our time. 61 years old here and has a voice most 30-year-olds would kill for. Incredible."

Joan Osborne - "St Teresa" Live in Italy (1996)

"as much as i loved the studio version, watching her do this live is a couple billion times better. i dare most modern musicians to try singing this for real, live"
