Many people really dig this song, it seems... not me. "Wild Horses" is their pinnacle, IMO... not a fan of this song at all.

It might be old, I can't argue that point. But it will never be moldy. Gold don't mold, or tarnish either, for that matter. It shines brilliantly.... forever!

Yea, I like the old Stones stuff too. I don't want to see RP go oldie, but a touch more of the sixties, especially by those bands who were changing R&R, would be good to hear.

I believe it was 1965 or 1966 and this was the first album that I ever owned. I thought that "The Last Time" was absolutely the coolest thing that I had ever heard with the EDA chord progression and the great guitar intro by Brian Jones. That was all she wrote. My father bought me a big red Framus bass like Bill Wyman had and my life was changed forever. Thanks Rolling Stones. This album also introduced me to R&B with several cover tunes done by the Stones also.

You can tell a *really* great band by how many 'periods' people have decided they sucked in

Old and moldy maybe... but still most excellent.

One of my favorite Stones' songs. Has that taste of the devil, but more understated than their usual fare.
