| cataloger | Posted: Apr 15, 2004 - 15:01 Does anyone else hear the guitar from REM's "Welcome to the Occupation" in this? Is it just me? |
| halcatus (Los Angeles, CA) | Posted: Jun 09, 2003 - 12:39 Someone tell me that this is not the song this artist should be judged by. Come on... Sounds like an early eighties poop song with a bit of Quarterflash and Smithereens riff rip-off thrown in for ill measure. |

Ashely Judd in a movie called "Ruby In Paradise" "Ruby In Paradise" is one of my favorites from Victor Nunez. I don't think he has directed anything better since - but "Ulyees Gold" was ok. |

I liked it a lot, too - & still remember it well after 10 years or so (much more so than most of the rest of what I saw during that time). Ashley Judd was amazing in it - haven't seen anything from her subsequently that has the same spark to it. They used this song in the opening credits, which grabbed me immediately - since the album was a big fave of mine but I'd never heard it on the radio or anywhere else. |
