Good point, but this song is still pretty good for a solo Mick effort.

Not to knock Keith as Life is a great book and his critiques of Jagger entertaining but...  Keith also talks about his own solo efforts as if they are the greatest thing since sliced bread in the book.  Neither of their efforts away from the Stones have much to recommend them.  Some decent songs can be found in both their efforts but, they clearly need each other to produce greatness.

Same hear.  Never heard this before, but love it.  Hearing this type of stuff might have caused me to be a bigger Stones/Mick fan way back when.

Yep.  I enjoyed the book and all the comments re Mick.  I DO like this song, but not much other solo work.  Hard to imagine the size of his EGO.

Great story!  I would have done the same.  Too bad that most music stores are staffed with people who wouldn't know their Stones from their Stone Roses.  Jagger has another cool song called "Old Habits Die Hard," which I love. It got played a lot, and then just dropped off the radar. Standard radio is SO jaundiced!

There is a lawsuit in this for John Fogarty(My baby left me).   I like the song but in listening to the intro couldn't place the difference.

I've been disliking the Stones for 43 years myself...and actually like this tune. A sure surprise for me...great energy. Maybe because this doesn't sound like the Stones...that I like it.

I've been listening to The Stones for 43 years and have always loved them, specifically Mick.  I remember when I went to buy this album when it first came out I asked the young people working at the record store if they had the new Mick Jagger CD.  They looked at me puzzled and said, "Is he that guy that has that Steven Tyler look going on?" {#Beat} I was shocked and told them they had no business working in a music store.  I bought the CD somewhere else.  {#Lol}  Ah, memories.

What's wrong with dying your hair? Some people just don't like grey. I started going grey when I was 13 (thanks mom!), and sometimes I dye and sometimes I don't. I'm not try to hang on to my youth, I just occasionally get tired of the grey. If the end result is a more youthful look, that's a nice benefit, but not the main goal!

I'm not usually a fan of ol' Rubberlips or the Stones, apart from their Blues work which is feckin' brilliant, and this is no exception - real driving blues rock. 8 from the Nottingham jury.
