He truly was an excitable boy.

Leave it to Warren to turn a Latin phrase into a cool-sounding refrain in a rock song. We'll miss you.

Thanks for playing this, Bill. One of the quieter tunes from his immense catalog, and one that rarely gets play. What a wry wit. What a talent. Lots of nuggets to be found within his songs. I hope the lesser-known ones will not get lost in time because Warren often was at his best when he was seemingly providing less.

When I first heard Warren's music, I found his voice annoying. Now that I've had a chance to listen to him some more, and get used to it, I still find it annoying. Talented songwriter, no doubt. Someone else should have done the singing, though.

right on. Letterman gave him practically the whole show and that's one of the reasons he rules over leno. with that aside, warren's sad and poignant performance was one of the most memorable performances by an artist i've seen to date, and his amazing attitude towards his own imminent demise is awesome :(

Man, now THAT'S IRONIC! I've really enjoyed Zevon's stuff for a couple of decades. One of the few intelligent and enjoyable voices in music. I, for one, will certainly miss him.

You will live on in my memory, and those of my children, Warren.

Not his best, but pretty good
going to miss Warren Zevon

Understand his song "My sh*ts f**ked up" a little better.
