Looking back, I do wonder why I ever liked this song in the first place. Very derivative. Very U2. Not aged well either.

Dude!  I can't believe you're playing this.  I thought I'd finnally reach a point in my life where I'd never have to hear this horrible song again.  What the heck.  I never heard of anyone who actually liked this song.

Since this has no redeeming musical value, the Supreme Court has declared it obscene. Until, of course, it becomes a corporation.

I think Mr. Ifield is still alive, but I don't think he and Ms. O'Riordan have ever met, however - he remembers you.

How have I not rated this "sucko-barfo" yet?

(And for those who hate on haters, I've tried over the years to find value in the Cranberries. My ears cannot allow it.)

I think the reason I like her vocals is that they're different from anyone else's. I mean, I don't mind beautiful voices, but I also don't mind the occasional unique voice. The sound of the whole song is very distinctive. If lots of songs popped up in imitation of this one I probably wouldn't like them so much — too much of an odd thing.

"It's not perfect...
I give it a '9'.
I think it's the heavy guitar, unconventional vocals, and passion that I like so much..."

Passion, unconventional vocals and heavy guitar do not necessarily a good song make.

This one needs to be relagated back to the dust bin file (as we used to call it in broadcasting) and rarely played.

She misses the pitch on her last yodellup in the song... I wonder why they never re-recorded this track to fix that?

Sometimes the producer/engineer goes for a great performance rather than a perfect take.
Listen to the Stones' "Gimme Shelter" where Merry Clayton's voice cracks while singing in the 'stratosphere'.
They could've redone that, but why bother when the passion is there.  On a retake, they might not have gotten the goods.
