Give
I have felt the comfort
Now what did I do to disappoint you?
Idle my emptiness
and it keeps returning to remind me
That I want to remain
A child with you forever
And hear as you lay before me
You tease me and tell me to stay
But what would you give
What would you give
I have given everything I could
But I don't think it really matters
Maybe nothing does
And how it keeps returning to remind me
That I want to remain
A child with you forever
And hear as you lay before me
you tease me and tell me to stay
What would you give?
What would you give?
I want to remain
A child with you forever
And hear as you lay before me
You tease me and tell me to stay
What would you give?
What would you give?
What would you give?
What would you give?

| cvandoren (Albany, NY) | Posted: Aug 14, 2008 - 19:45 Where else do you hear a second song from a one hit wonder like dishwalla? But while I think it's cool RP plays this song, it isn't very good I'm afraid. And thats from someone who has the album... :) Ho Humm - a 3 from me. Love the album art though... |

Agreed. Average rating is clearly being weighed down by a lot of 1s, 2s, and 3s. I wonder if people find it pretentious or something. But it's a beautiful tune... one of their best. (See also: Charlie Brown's Parents.) |

I agree. I'm not thirlled by the song, but am intrigued by the cover art. |

| RedGuitar (Iowa, USA) | Posted: Mar 30, 2007 - 09:04 Like those Leslied guitars - at least it sounds like that. I used to like "Counting Blue Cars" when it was all over commerical radio. |

| ArbiterOfGoodTaste (Seattle, WA) | Posted: Nov 01, 2006 - 10:45 This is all right... I like the change-up toward the end. The leslie is on the keyboards, and there's nothing wrong with that. I even like the bit o' cowbell. |
