 I think you may be recalling an Alanis Morisette tune - from what I read somewhere, if memory serves, many feel AM "ripped off" Ani.

Truly one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.  I love this song and am so glad to have the music of Ani DiFranco in my life thanks to a tip from a Canadian friend of mine.  Her lyrics are like poetry.  This song, hello birmingham and her 9/11 poem self evident all stir deep emotion for me not that I don't enjoy loads more as well.

(I hope you know I'm only teasing you!) 

P.S. - Ms. Difranco has a lot better songs than this one (which got played to death on AM and FM radio, even here in the land of sand fleas and sagebrush.)  I don't like this one much, either, but I do like some of her music.
