| kingart (Brooklyn NY) | Posted: May 09, 2013 - 16:34 HEAVEN! This is music that changed my outlook and my life halfway through the first hearing. It was the very definition of exquisite timing. I had never heard anything like it. Spoke to me in vast volumes. I believe he was only 23 years old when he cut this. |

| km888888 | Posted: Oct 02, 2012 - 06:19 Great memory. Dropped a hit of acid and rode the tune through. Fitting that the name of the next tune on the album is "Hope Your Feeling Better". I sure was...... |
| Briangswing | Posted: Sep 11, 2012 - 06:30 I remember back in the day when I saw Carlos and the boys play at Winterland to a full house. Nothing quite does it like his guitar excellence. Still a favorite - timeless. |

BTW, Szabo's work with Chico Hamilton is killer stuff. thanks for this. i didn't know. |

| coloradojohn (Tokyo till Jan. 29, then it's back to Rocky Mtn Way!) | Posted: Jan 23, 2012 - 03:30 THIS is one of those songs...can bring a reverential hush to any gathering...which is cool, because when the guitar really starts to sing and the melody takes off, it shifts the whole thing into another gear, whether it's Red Rocks or a candle-lit bedroom...ROCK ON! |

| fredriley (Nottingham, UK) | Posted: May 18, 2009 - 04:34 It's Mars Bar time. Explanation: this number would regularly be played at the end of discos in the 'slow smooch' section, together with other clichéd efforts such as 10cc's I'm Not In Love. Cue horde of horny pissed guys descending on the dance floor from their lurking positions at the bar searching, usually in vain, for some poor victim to smooch/snog/grope. Girls came to know this as 'mars bar time', as that's what it felt like was in the guy's pocket as he copped his free clinch. Needless to say, the guys who really managed to get to grips with the girls were those who'd been dancing with them all night, rather than lurking in the dark like dirty old men. This number takes me right back to those days, and as a result doesn't have good associations as I was, sadly, one of the mars bar guys... :( |
