this album art reminds me of Alex Cox's take on Reagan era foreign policy:

Walker is a 1987 American-Mexican Acid Western film directed by Alex Cox and starring Ed HarrisRichard MasurRene AuberjonoisPeter BoyleSy RichardsonXander BerkeleyAlfonso ArauMarlee Matlin and Miguel Sandoval. The film is based on the life story of William Walker, the American filibuster who invaded Mexico in the 1850s and made himself President of Nicaragua shortly thereafter. It was written by Rudy Wurlitzer and scored by Joe Strummer, who also plays a small role as a member of Walker's army.

The film is intentionally full of anachronisms such as helicoptersZippo lighters, automatic rifles and a car passing a horse carriage. It was filmed in Nicaragua during the Contra War.

Cox borrowed from an amazing Brando film
Burn! (Italian: Queimada) is a 1969 Italian drama film directed by Gillo Pontecorvo and starring Marlon Brando, Evaristo Márquez and Renato Salvatori.     (it's about Sugar)

I don't really like this song, but there is a real retro "classic rock" feel to it.
I agree about the retro feel, but I disagree about the song. I like it.
