| horstman (Syracuse, New York) | Posted: Dec 02, 2011 - 16:24 I've heard alot of this album from Bill and Rebecca and found it recently in the used CD rack for $5.00 and could not pass it up. It is a great album with alot of cute ditties. 8 Piece Box is so true to life (I can eat all day for $7.99!). Great to listen to in the car driving in busy traffic looking for that open lane to open it up. Solid 10. And they are the B52s of southern rock and maybe a little more creative. Or at least self mocking. |
| Stranglersfan (Revelstoke, B.C.) | Posted: Oct 28, 2011 - 09:13 I saw these guys in concert, in a Toronto bar. Yes, they threw fried chicken into the crowd. It was a seriously loud and great show. |
| Relayer (Gainesville, FL) | Posted: Oct 28, 2011 - 09:13 Yea! I'm seeing SCOTS on 11/20/11 here in Gainesville! I've seen them 6+ times, and the shows are always so much fun. |
| elliotgoettelman (sturgeon bay, wi) | Posted: Aug 26, 2011 - 07:18 just damn fun - drinking dancing laughing....all I need! and a little bit of fried chicken and gasoline...... |

| sirdroseph (Yes) | Posted: Oct 15, 2010 - 05:24 I like the sense or humor and what they are trying to do, I generally love southern alt country with a sense of humor. However, this band bores me. |

| Brestois (Swords, Co. Dublin, Ireland) | Posted: Apr 07, 2010 - 05:32 That's some daring album cover! Gotta warn my friend who's going to America soon not to stray into the bushes when in the South. His dirt track would not like it. |

If you had ever seen these guys play live, you would never have said that. I guess it's a little different when the audience is throwing fried chicken around the room. (Yes, we really DO do that!) . |

| vivakitty | Posted: Aug 15, 2008 - 08:18 Not my favorite SCOTS song - ("Camel Walk," "Cheap Motel," and "Eight Piece Box" would rank ahead of it, off the top of my head) - but still glad to hear 'em on here. And the other commenters are right: SO MUCH FUN to see them live. They used to throw fried chicken into the audience until some dumbass actually ate the chicken and got sick. Stick to the biscuits for eating, just have your picture taken with the chicken. |

| jenakle (Tallahassee, FL) | Posted: Mar 26, 2008 - 07:27 This is seriously one of the funnest shows I've ever attended. They did the Cow Haus proud, complete with flying lil Debbies...they wouldn't even start the show until they had some fried chicken. Faux or freaks, they were fantastic ;) |
