You gotta love dog's noses.  They are there for the squeezing.

If you ever have a chance to see the Willy Porter with his band, go to the show.  The musicianship is A1, and they improvise on tunes for 15 minutes in a magical groove.  'Available Light' is an excellent CD.

Hmmmm..... he's moved from the dashboard to the grille? Hope it's not one o' them Texas cars. You know...the ones with the horns mounted on them?

(You'd think he would've been more comfortable on the dashboard!)

This would get a 9 for the cover art even if the song wasn't great. Which it is. "Man, where's Moses?" I nearly spit chai all over my keyboard.

I completely agree, every time this CD comes up in rotation in the jukebox I take it off shuffle and let it finish, it's just fantastic all the way through.

Add one more Willy Porter fan's utter adoration for this album.

Saw him live at the Barrymore here in Madison lo those many years ago. That guy knows how to work a crowd.

Just saw Willy again in concert. This time he was with Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre. Talk about oil and water. Willy would do his usual beautiful rhythmic guitar work and Barre and his washed up boys would get up there and hammer out some Satriani-esque riffs. Quite strange and I hope Willy leaves Barre behind next tour.........

Hey, scroll down and read the lyrics--the grille is on the front of a Peterbuilt. Whimsy with a capital "W". Better still, with a random letter capitalized: perfectly whimsical. Or perhaps none at all, which introduces the possibility of the oft-dreaded ALL CAPS ONLINE SHOUTING...

BIFF!!! ITS ME ZIPPY. JESUS ROCKS D00D!!!!
