I found their Greatest Hits cassette laying on the ground by the projects back in the '90s.  This song mesmerized me.  I put in a request for the cd our local used album shop and got it some 6 months later.  What an album.

Always dug this song's hook and crescendo and horns. Just say that you love me! It's quite different for FM. Bears no resemblance to Rumors, and certainly not to the Peter Green band.
Speaking of which...
NICE segue, Bill.

Hear, hear! My tastes range far and wide, and I feel the richer for it. This song made me turn up the volume and dance. Good times, and I'm not even in a hotel room. ^_^

Listenable, but I don't get the point of the song or the musical treatment of the lyrics.

One of the high points of the Buckingham/Nicks era. Still holds up well today as it has none of that late '70s sunshine production of their other major hits.

The USC Trojans — to raise money for his frat the year the song came out, my cousin sold cloth frisbees along the side of the Rose Bowl parade in the shape of — you guessed it — trojans (with the logo and school colors of course).  You know, the frisbees with the weights at the end and the rolled edge.  Always a great money maker.

Even though I don't agree with Deadwing, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a Porcupine Tree song that would be worth the derision you're anticipating, so I'd go ahead and let that dead otter out to sea if I were you.
