I love this song so much!  Just cranked it up in the kitchen and danced with my toddler.  The whole album is so great.

Between John Fred's & Gary Lewis's band, there sure were a lot of Rockin' Playboys in the 60's!

I have this CD, and I love every song on it. I'm not the best candidate for objectivity, so I'll just say that every Pete Yorn song gets a 9 from me unless otherwise noted. {#Sunny}

OOoooooo, nice greyfin10- Alliteration, pun and obscure reference to the Sid and Marty Kroft's Banana Splits Saturday morning cash in on the Monkees phenomena. Pete Yorn is perhaps the best indie singer songwriter to get instant sales and representation due to nepotism.

An here's some more trivia: the mother of Tork's bandmate Mike Nesmith invented Liquid Paper, whihc she sold to Gillette for close to $50 million. Whew! Memory almost full!

Yorn/Tork---close enough!! At least their last names kind of sound alike (if not their voices).

I'd love to here Pete Yorn cover "Your Auntie Grizelda" on his next album...

I never noticed that. They are both peppy, I guess I just didnt notice because of the lack of horns in Yorn's song.
BTW, to here this song and see a guy dressed as an alien dance to it, check out Youtube...where else?!(click here)
