The same could be said of a lot of deceased "legendary" artists (e.g., Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Nick Drake).  They might all be playing mall-openings or county fairs if they were alive today.  One can theorize, but we'll never know for sure - well, not unless we complete work on that time machine.

Electric Ladyland (0)

Respect, electric guitars and amplifiers in the year 0. Clearly ahead of its time...
Not a very brilliant piece of songwriting though....

In memory of my first favorite drummer...

John "Mitch" Mitchell  (9 July 1947 - 12 November 2008)

Mitch Mitchell, who has died aged 61, was the drummer with the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the last surviving member of the trio which proved one of the most influential bands in rock music.  Mitchell was a powerful force on the Hendrix band's 1967 debut album "Are You Experienced?" as well as the trio's albums "Electric Ladyland" and "Axis: Bold As Love." He had an explosive drumming style that can be heard in hard-charging songs such as "Fire" and "Manic Depression."

The weird thing is that I find american "comedy" quite bland I generally find american cartoons like southpark/simpsons/beavis&butthead to be quite witty.

Whatever afterlife he's in, I wanna go there when I die, cuz they'll have the best shows.
