Reminds me of the great old 'Steam days'' when railway engines were coal fired , I hear the hissing of the steam , the rush through the tunnel even the whistle , wonderful memories of great days .. Well dione Wills but obviously not written as such but art is in the eye/ear of the beholder.

How interesting. I was listening to this thinking how I liked the song OK, and then a woman's voice came on that ruined it for me. On checking the song info, I saw it was Beth Orton's voice. Which I have always disliked intensely. At least I'm consistent....

I miss my little (now repaired but not back in operation yet) tube amp, but my AudioEngine A5's are doing a fine job of this, too!

Fantastic, particularly for 1993. Pre-Internet for most of us. William Orbit was quite a pioneer in this style.

Oh, thank you, when I heard the opening note I turned up the earphones from 10 to 11.

Best experienced on the 128AAC feed with some good 'phones. Lots of little layers to find and I love Beth Orton's voice.

I guess you just don't care for electronica, ambient, or downtempo stuff.  I would imagine that doctors' waiting rooms, nowadays, would more likely have some "soft" classic rock stuff (ie. Eagles, Billy Joel) playing, than they would have something like this.
