I like Bob Marley. I like reggae. Unfortunately reggae has the staying power of a wet match beyond two minutes of listening. I know it's just me. My problem...but I'm sick of reggae roughly 1:13 minutes into any tune...no matter how good they are.

Not unlike San Tropez by The Floyd, does this song transport it's listeners: for me, all the way down to a sandy caribe beach at dusk whilst a gentle breeze paired nicely with a lilting melody helps ease a very cool & refreshing mojito down me parched throat

Just because they use the same ingredients, know how to cook and love what they're doing does not mean the food will taste the same. WXPN, the University of Pennsylvania public radio station, has begun airing "Joe Strummer's London Calling", a BBC radio show he DJ'd in the late '90s. It's a kick to listen to the eclectic music he chose. XPN is available online at xpn.org (not to compete with RP or anything) and the show is on Tuesday nights at 8pm eastern. It's probably elsewhere as well, but thought some of you might be interested.
