When I was in high school, I did an internship at the local radio station.  The program directer had to fight management to keep a song from getting played more then once in a 4 hour stretch.  Of course, I lived in a black hole as far as radio stations went.  4 country music stations, 3 religious stations, 1 NPR station that played classical music about 70% of the time, and one Adult contempory station.  It was sad.  It's even worse there now, but I'm at the other end of the state, so I don't mind the fact that they have shat for radio there.

My first association, regarding his voice was....Marianne Faithful! It's also the sort of song she could sing.

One of the more interesting, "new" artists I've heard lately. Makes me curious about other things he's done.
