Normally not a fan of drum circles, but this has a lot of interest interspersed into the rhythms...the flute is very nice...

I am sure that this is Indian percussion music with a little bit of Western influence... most people here seem to think it's African.

It reminds me of some overly done instrumentals from Bollywood movies... not that there's anything wrong with that.

Hi, thought this track was amazing - had the volume raised and could really feel the groove!
Who is Greg Ellis, I thought there was a definite Australian feel to the music....?

I've got the CD, and while I generally like world beat music, and think Greg Ellis is a very talented percussionist, it's a bit much to listen to the whole CD at once. One of the things I like about Mickey Hart (of the Dead) is that his world beat projects mix it up a bit more, whereas this seems more like a page from a drummer's audible notebook.
