I'm floating down a river
Oars freed from their holes long ago
Lying face up on the floor of my vessel
I marvel at the stars and feel my heart overflow
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Two weeks without my lover
I'm in this boat alone
Floating down a river named emotion
Will I make it back to shore or drift into the unknown?
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
I'm building an antenna
Transmissions will be sent when I am through
Maybe we could meet again further down the river
And share what we both discovered then revel in the view
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river
I'm floating down a river

| hidey (NZ) | Posted: Dec 01, 2012 - 22:11 This is pretentious and boring in my opinion. That 'aaaeaaa' thing he keeps doing is very irritating. He must have way too many indulgent people in his life to have ended up in a studio. |
| joelbb | Posted: Oct 13, 2012 - 23:07 The "Vaguely Japanese" riff was OK fora while, but got waaaaaaaaay boring long before the cut was finished. Definitely marginal. |

| Hannio (Austin, TX) | Posted: Jun 09, 2012 - 19:11 This song reminds me of descending through the clouds to Changsha airport. The country below was veiled in mist and clouds and quite mysterious looking. This song suits the feeling perfectly. |
| ScottishWillie (The Scottish Lowlands) | Posted: Apr 25, 2012 - 03:33 Not heard this one for ages. For some reason I find it hugely relaxing. |
| Eros92450 (Loveland, Colorado) | Posted: Mar 06, 2012 - 14:17 Peaceful....very different. First time I've heard this. I like it very much! |
| choderama (Nanaimo, BC, Canada) | Posted: Jan 07, 2012 - 15:33 I sparked this song out of a 4 year hiatus last year. Now it's being played quite regularly. Awesome. |
| srose96 (grandma's house) | Posted: Dec 20, 2011 - 06:44 this is groovy.. |

| piñata (ibagué) | Posted: Sep 16, 2011 - 08:22 Yo amo esta canción desde la primera vez que la escuche, la mejor de ese álbum! Floating down the river!!! |
| Byronape (Snorkeling in the River Styx) | Posted: Aug 15, 2011 - 23:51 This song was always one of my favorites from this album. I found a lot of it to not hold up over the years, and it wasn't helped by incessant overplay by every local radio station I could get when this came out. Plus, I had a crazy ex that was OBSESSED with some of the songs off this album but didn't really care that much for this one. It's unfortunate, but this is one of the few songs I can listen too from this album without having really bad flashbacks. (She taught me to never date another Hispanic bi chick from the Bronx ever again. No offense to any Hispanic bi chicks who happen to be from the Bronx... but she ended up with some SERIOUS problems and tried to sabotage my relationship with my current wife before she was my wife.) |

| Alexandra (Here and Now) | Posted: Jul 29, 2011 - 05:42 They have BIG SUR on the cover of their album! Oh how I miss living right down the coast from that place. |
| sirdroseph (Yes) | Posted: Jul 29, 2011 - 05:41 Actually because of their mass appeal and poppiness, I think this band is a bit underrated. They have consistently put out quality material for well over a decade now. Their latest is suprisingly good as well. |
| bseib (40 24' N 86 53' W) | Posted: Jun 27, 2011 - 19:36 Awesome album. Impossible that it is already 10 years old. (Damn, how does time do that?! |

| fredriley (Nottingham, UK) | Posted: Mar 11, 2011 - 05:20 I liked this at first, but yer man's singing becomes increasingly, and presumably deliberately, out of tune as the song goes on and gets on my tits. This would be lovely without his discordant warbling, but with it a mute becomes inevitable. |

| crockydile (The swamps of Houston) | Posted: Feb 03, 2006 - 09:03 1st Incubus for me too. A bit repetitive...could meditate to it, though... |
| smadanayr (Llaingoch, Cymru, U.K.) | Posted: Feb 03, 2006 - 09:03 This album is FANTASTIC, but this isn't the best track from it.. |
